Are preserved plants real plants?

Before your mind goes off in another direction, let me clarify what we are talking about here. We are talking about plants (herbs, ferns, mosses, and trees) and whether to choose real ones or artificial ones.

If you have been tasked with the job of having to decide whether to use real plants or artificial ones in your decorating endeavor, I hope this article will help you. If you have a green thumb, you love gardening and you have the time to do it, then, by all means, use real plants. There is a comfort in taking care of living things and watching them grow.

But, if you don’t have a green thumb, don’t like gardening, and you don’t have the time, then a viable alternative is the answer.

Let’s explore artificial plants versus Preserved Plants.

What ARE preserved plants? Preserved Plants are REAL plants that have gone through a special process whereby they require NO maintenance, NO watering, NO pruning AND they last for up to ten years! Why would one use these as opposed to the traditional silk or plastic artificial plants? As you know, artificial plants look…well…artificial. Not only that, they attract dust. After a while, they just look old and tired.

With preserved plants, they are real. They look real, they smell real, they feel and taste real…because they are real. Just like real plants, they don’t attract dust (although, if they are sitting for a long time, they WILL get dusty just like anything else, but you just blow them off with a hair dryer set on cool).

Imagine having real plants that you don’t have to water or maintain….Preserved Plants…the way to go in a busy society.
